Officer Involved
Over the course of 2 years, a police officer turned first-time filmmaker and his wife traveled the United States and brought together experts and current/former law-enforcement officers in an effort to explore the highly secretive, often misunderstood, and socially taboo topic of what the officer experiences in the wake of an officer-involved shooting.
Note: It has come to our attention in recent weeks that Amazon has removed this film from their services and they have refused to provide us with a reason why, instead only confirming that it has been flagged for a content review. We’ve sent 6-emails asking for an explanation. After being listed on Amazon for 3-years, we find the timing of their decision both interesting and disheartening. Documentaries are meant to engage viewers in conversations and demonstrate other worlds which you can examine from the safety of your home. You will find documentaries that take extreme stances on issues. This is not one of them. The goal of Officer Involved is stated right in the tagline. It is to provide you with ‘a look, if only a glimpse, of what it means to be an Officer Involved.’ Until the film is reactivated on Amazon, we created a place here at our website where Officer Involved can be rented or purchased. After clicking the purchase option below, you will be taken Vimeo to finalize your purchase. When you rent/purchase the film, the proceeds support us and our work. Please also know that you may still find the film on iTunes and Google Play.
